My newest release! It features contributions from the likes of Jillian Rae, Mother Banjo, Vonnie Kyle, Tony Ihrig, and two (count 'em, two) Federales! Plus the same band that's graced the last two records, and the return of Peter Remiger behind the board. More importantly, it's the first album I've made since turning 30 and getting married. I always worried that would make things a lot more settled and less interesting, but the opposite seems to have happened. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best record I've put out yet.

Tremendous thanks to Peter, and everyone who played on this record, for making it sound the way it does. Better or worse, this is the record I've been wanting to make for a very long time, and it's cliched but true: I couldn't have done it without the talent involved in its production. Thank you all.

This album goes out to my good friend, Chris.

I made this one in 2007, shortly after graduating from McNally Smith. It's the first record I made with Peter Remiger, and the first to feature the core of the BCF full band, Cole Mickelson on guitar and Andy Schuster on bass. Some of it's a bit weird, but aside from the Bonus Track, it's nothing I wouldn't play in front of my grandmother. (Although that might be saying more about my grandmother than anything else.) Just between you and me, it's probably my favorite album I've put out thus far.

The band album! (More or less.) This one spotlights the two bands I was fronting circa 2010, the rock band (known then as the Damnation Consort) and the Glorious Percussion Armada. Most of these were songs I had lying around from my Iowa days, but which always went over well live. I'm really proud of it - in fact, just between you and me, it's probably my favorite album I've put out thus far.

My first Minnesota release, recorded whilst I was at McNally Smith. It's a stripped-down affair, largely piano and vocal with a few extra musical flourishes - I often call this my Joni Mitchell album. It's been long out of print, but I still play a lot of songs from this record, and just between you and me, it's probably my favorite album I've put out thus far.
